Eleanor L. (Newman) Mattingly 70, of Natick died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Medway Country Manor. Born in Medford she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Lynthel (Butler) Newman. Eleanor was raised in Natick and graduated from Natick High School. She was completed devoted to her family, and the nine foster children she raised over the years. Her heart and home were always open for people, who were loved, cared for, and well fed! John -3:16. She is survived by seven children Paul Newman, Debbie White, Lisa Masi, Faith Manolio, Amy Thompson Kindl, Bruce and Brian Denietolis, her siblings Virginia Mayo of Natick, Douglas Newman of Bostic NC, Harvey Newman of Natick, Taylor Newman of Needham, Henry Newman of Willcox AZ, Dorothy Newman of Fort Walton Beach FL, Stephen Newman of Framingham, Barbara Munroe of Framingham, Carol Ogle of Bellingham 16 grandchildren,3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Joan M. Whetton, John Newman, Theodore Newman, and Roland Newman. Her funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 A.M. at the Celebration International Church in Wayland. Burial will follow in Dell Park Cemetery Natick. Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8: 00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
