Natick: Glorious J. (Cameron) Perk, 73, died peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Metrowest Medical Center following a period of declining health.
She was born in St. Alban’s, Vermont on September 21, 1938 the daughter of the late Thomas J. Cameron and Mable Mae (Benway) Cameron.
Glorious was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Perk who died on November 26, 1997.
She is survived by her longtime companion Richard C. “Dick” West and his son Richard C. West, Jr. both of Ashland. Also survived by her friend Susan S. Lemieux and her husband Joel and their children Avery and Celia all of Natick. Glorious also leaves an aunt and several cousins.
She has been a resident of Natick for over 40 years and previously resided in St. Albans, Vermont during her formative years. She was an assembler for many years with EMC and with Honeywell for 25 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling with her friends and loved to be around people from all walks of life. She was known as “Auntie G” and will be greatly missed by all of the lives that she touched.
Visitations will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 3:00 to 4:15 PM followed by her funeral service at 4:30 PM in the Bryant Memorial Chapel of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Route 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Interment will be private at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts in her memory may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
