Jarmila Sojkova age 43, of Natick died Monday December 17, 2012 surrounded by family at her home. She was the beloved wife of Stefan Sojka with whom she shared 16 years of marriage. A resident of Natick for the past 13 years she was born in Slovakia the daughter of Jan and Anna (Suhajdova) Ergang of Slovakia Jarmila was a teacher for the Town of Wellesley at the Upham and Hardy Elementary Schools and was a teacher in her native Slovakia before coming to the United States in 1993. She received her teaching degree graduating from the University of Matej Bella Banska Bystrica in Slovakia. Jarmila enjoyed all outdoor activities with her family especially hiking, and loved to dance. She possessed a warm and loving personality which would light up the room for everyone when she would enter. Jarmila was completely devoted to her family and many friends. She taught swimming lessons in the summer and as a devout Catholic. She was a CCD teacher for St Patrick Parish in Natick. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her two devoted children, Alex Sojka and Victoria A. Sojkova of Natick, one brother Jaroslav Ergang of Slovakia and his wife Mirka of Slovakia and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, December 20, at 10:30 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick Church at 11:30 A.M. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M Burial in St Patrick Cemetery.
