Margaret M. (Morgan) Karr passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Beaumont Nursing Home of Natick. She was 97 years young.

Devoted wife of the late John J. Karr, loving mother of Dr. P J Karr and her beloved soul mate Antonio Rinella of Natick, Beverley J. Feeney and her husband Martin J. of Needham and the late Patricia LaPerle and her late husband Donald LaPerle. Cherished Nana of Dr. Kelly Feeney-Kettler and her husband Dr. Ryan Kettler of NJ, Brett Feeney and his wife Dr. Gypsi Feeney of Virginia and Lee Perloff and his wife Catherine of Sterling. Great Nana of Austin J. Kettler, Kellan F. Feeney and Matthew Kelley.

NATICK: John J. Coleman, Jr., age 62, a longtime Natick resident and Vietnam era veteran, died on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Westside House in Worcester. His wife, Florence (Kenzerski) Coleman was at his side.

Born, raised and educated in Natick, John was the son of the late John J. and Saga (Seaholm) Coleman. He served with the US Navy after high school and was honorably discharged in 1973. An enthusiastic hockey player in his youth, John remained a fan of the sport throughout his life. He had been employed with his father at the family welding business.

In addition to Florence, John is survived by his sister, Christine A. Moise, and her husband, B. Philip Moise, of Ann Arbor, MI. He was also predeceased by a sister, Brenda Godden.

A Committal Service will be held at the Coleman Family lot in Saint Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick, on Friday, July 5th at 1:00p.m.

Beloved son of Ruth (Fraser) Mahoney of Natick and the late Robert Mahoney. Proud grandfather of Camryn and Grayson. Devoted brother of Kathy von der Heyde and her husband Kelvin of Weston, Colleen Wells of Weston, Timothy Mahoney and his wife Kate of Sandwich, Tricia St. Martin and her husband Paul of Natick, and the late Maureen White. Also survived by his brother-in-law, Dan White of FL, and many nieces and nephews. Joseph A. Poshefko age 97, of Natick died Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home.

He was the beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Radocha) Poshefko who died in 2001.

A coal cracker from Pennsylvania. Born in August 29, 1915 he was one of ten siblings of a coal miner named John Poshefko. He grew up as a HUNKY (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunky_Culture) until his mom Mary moved the family to Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania. He worked as raw laborer building road in the mountains in the mining regions. He then joined the depression era Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). He was then selected to join the Army Air corps and was stationed at Langley in the 30′s. His grand adventure started when he was recruited to join Central Aircraft Manufacturing Company. After receiving an honorable discharge for the Army Air Corps he was sent to San Francisco to become one of the first members of the famous AVG Flying Tigers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_Tigers). After completing his contract he stayed in China to help transition the 14th Air Force into service. After returning home he joined GM Corporation and started building Wildcat airplanes in Linden NJ. He married Mary Radocha. After the war ended he was sent to Framingham MA to set up the GM factory in 1948. He built a house in Natick and has lived there till today. After 32 year at GM he retired in 1974. He then became the first civil defense director for Natick. Over the years he stayed involved in the Natick community. His last four years volunteering in the Natick high school.

He was a walking, talking history lesson. He knew personally every famous Aviation persona from Charles Limburg through Neil Armstrong. He knew the rich and famous yet was always comfortable just being JOE POKO. Joe Poshefko is one of four known surviving Flying Tigers, and was awarded a Bronze Star, a Presidential Unit Citation and a host of Chinese military service medals. He will live on in history from China and the USA. He was more than an average JOE he was a kind and gentle man.

He is survived by one daughter Jo-Ann Connors Tallahassee FL, one son Robert P. Poshefko and his wife Pamela of Hopkinton, one grandson Michael Connors, US Navy Seal, and his wife Heather, two grandsons Caelan and Channing Connors, one brother William P. Poshefko of NJ, three sisters, Helen P. Poshefko, Agnes P. Poshefko both of NJ, Rose Kosch of PA, and many nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday, July 13 at 9:00 from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.

Visiting Hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Burial with Military Honors will take place on Monday, July 15, at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home Patient Activities Fund, 45 Union Street Natick, MA 01760

NATICK: Cheryl K. (Hand) Chagnon, 53 died peacefully at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston on July 8, 2013, following a courageous and dignified battle for over 16 years with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma with her family at her side.
She was born in Waltham on July 9, 1959 the daughter of Paul “Mickey” Hand and Kathleen “Kay” Hand both of Wayland.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved and devoted children Tara P. Chagnon of Framingham; Joseph I.Chagnon of Natick and Nathan P. Chagnon of Wareham. She was the sister of Daniel Hand of Wayland; Colleen Meiners of Jackson, WY; Kerry Lewis of Hudson and Erin Cole of Natick. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl had resided in Wayland during her formative years and has been a resident of Natick for many years. She graduated from Wayland High School with the Class of 1977 and went on to graduate from LaSalle College in Newton. For over 13 years Cheryl served as a crossing guard for the Town of Natick Police Department and also was a Certified Occupational Therapist for many years at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehab Center in Natick. She was active in the community and committed to fundraising and awareness for lymphoma research. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children and will be greatly missed by all of the lives that she touched. She handled her illness with dignity and grace and was also very optimistic and positive during those challenging years.
Visitations will be held on Monday, July 15, 2103 from 4:00 to 8:00 at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
On Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 9:00 am family and friends are requested to go directly to St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick for Cheryl’s Mass of Christian Burial.
Private family interment will be held in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick at their convenience.

NATICK: Harold L. “Harry” Prebensen, 64, died on Thursday, July 11, 2013 following a declining period of health.
He was born in Cambridge on June 23, 1949 the son of the late Harold L. Prebensen and Catherine M. (Lawlor) Prebensen.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Deborah A. (Callahan) Prebensen of Natick. Beloved father of Mary K. Prebensen and Megan P. Prebensen of Natick. He was the brother-in-law of Dan and Paula Callahan of Foxborough and Kathleen Callahan of Milton. Cherished uncle of Danny, Patrick, Hayley and Kelly Callahan.
Harry has been a resident of Natick for over 30 years and spent his formative years in Tewksbury. He graduated from Keith Academy in Lowell and received his BA in Accounting from Lowell Tech now known as Lowell University. He has had a long and distinguished career associated with the federal government. He began his career with the EPA in Boston and Watertown and for over 20 years was with the U.S. Army Labs in Natick. At the U.S. Army Labs he began in the personnel department and became the Director of Personnel, he served as the Deputy to the Commander of the U.S. Army Labs and retired as a Deputy Environmental Specialist. He served his country proudly as an SP/5 with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid reader and loved all of the Boston sports teams especially the New England Patriots. He was a devoted and loving husband and father and will be missed greatly by them.
At the request of his family there will be no funeral home visitations and private family services will be held followed by interment in the Callahan family lot in St. Zepherin’s Cemetery in Wayland.
In lieu of flowers his family requests that memorial donations in Harry’s memory be sent to an organization that will benefit veterans.

NATICK: Peter A. Krivicich, Jr., 79, of Natick died on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham after being stricken at his residence earlier in the day.
He was born in Somerville on April 29, 1934 the son of the late Peter Krivicich and Mary (Saganich) Krivicich.
Peter is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Kathleen F. (O’Donnell) Krivicich of Natick. Beloved father of Robert P. Krivicich of Natick, John J. Krivicich of Natick and Dawn M. Krivicich of West Boylston. Brother of Frances Soldicich of Framingham, Theresa Chouinard and her husband Kenneth of Ashland, Mary Profit and her husband Ronald of Wayland and Joanne Krivicich of Framingham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Peter has been a longtime resident of Natick and spent his earlier years in Arlington. He was a graduate of Natick High School and received his Certificate of Industrial Engineering from the Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology in Boston. He served his country proudly as a Private First Class with the United States Army. Peter was a self-employed general carpenter and began his successful career as an installer of hardwood floors until 1972 and then concentrated on general carpentry. He supported his sons in their younger years as a cubscout master with Natick Pack 40 of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the J. J. McKays bowling league for many years. He was also a member of the Industrial Technology Engineering Society. He loved to travel with his wife Kathleen and his family. Peter especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family at their backyard pool. He also loved to spend time growing his vegetable garden.
Visitations will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 9:00 am followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin’s Church, 99 Main St (Rte 27), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Interment will be private at a later date.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother

TEWKSBURY – Pegge (Margaret) M. (Downey) Heidenrich, 90, died peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2013, at the Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.
She was the beloved wife of Frank J. Heidenrich with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
Pegge was born in Boston on June 29, 1923, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Lynch) Downey, and resided in Natick for 25 years before moving to Tewksbury to the Heidenrich Dairy Farm.
She was a devoted communicant of St. Williams Church in Tewksbury and secretary of the Woman’s Sodality, with Marge Rauseo, her closest friend, as President. She was in charge of publicity for Tewksbury baseball, and secretary for the Tewksbury Recreation Department.
Before she was married she worked at the New England Telephone Company in Wellesley. After raising her four children, she worked at The Bon Marche in Lowell for 10 years, and Raytheon Company in Bedford until her retirement at age 72.
Pegge was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and neighbor. She and her husband Frank enjoyed many vacations including Prince Edward Island, California, and Florida, plays at the North Shore Music Theater, and dinners with their close and dear friends for many years Marge and Don Rauseo of Tewksbury. She enjoyed dancing, swimming, and summers at Hampton Beach with her family.
Besides her husband Frank, she is survived and will be deeply missed by two sons, Frank Heidenrich and his fiancé Maggie Isaacs of Osterville, and John Heidenrich and his wife Carol (Sabato) of Chelmsford, two daughters Karen (Heidenrich) Dawson and her husband Jim of Southlake, Texas, and Ann (Heidenrich) Rossino and her husband Sam of Acton; six grandchildren Justin Kelly of Cambridge, Jessica Kelly-Heidenrich of Cape Cod, John and Evan Heidenrich of Chelmsford, and Greg and Katy Rossino of Acton; a sister-in-law Carol Downey of Natick. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Pegge was predeceased by her brothers John, Joseph, and Bernard Downey of Natick.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street Tewksbury on Thursday, July 25, from 4-7 p.m. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m., followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in St. Williams Church, 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury. Interment and committal service in Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave, Boston Ma 02118.

NATICK: Raffaele Sansossio, age 73, a longtime Natick resident, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Saint Patrick’s Manor in Framingham. Father of Ciro R. Sansossio and Nadia J. Bender, he was also a loving grandfather, brother and friend.

Rachel Mary Manoli of Natick died tragically on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at her home following a courageous battle with anorexia. She was only sixteen years old.

Born on January 24, 1997 in Newton, Massachusetts, she just completed her sophomore year at Natick High School where she was a high honor student and a member of the Ski Club. She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church of Natick where she just received her confirmation. Rachel enjoyed Irish Step Dancing, reading, music, movies, shopping and driving because she was about to get her license. She loved to attend her brother Peter’s sporting events and spending special time with her parents even if they weren’t doing anything. She had a great sense of humor and a brilliant mind that matched her smile.

She was the devoted daughter of James V. & Jean C. (Conley) Manoli of Natick, loving sister of Peter W. Manoli, also of Natick. Cherished granddaughter of Marjorie Conley & her late husband Leo & Charles Manoli & his late wife Virginia. Niece of Charles, Mary & James, John, Mark, Vincent & Claudia, Matthew & Sharon, Michael & Amy, Daniel & Ann, Sheila, Leo & MaryLou, James & Gail & the late Peter. NATICK: James F. Shea, 81, passed away Wednesday July 31 at Cape Cod Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Maureen A. (Elder) Shea of Natick for 52 years.
James was born in Worcester, the son of the late John J. and Mary M. (Gilmartin) Shea. He is survived by his children Robert J. Shea and his wife Amy of Lansdale, PA, Mary Ellen Shea of Natick and Patricia A. Wagner and her husband Michael of Westwood.
James is also survived by his brother John J. Shea of Fort Myers, FL. He was preceded in death by two brothers Stephen Shea and Edward P. Shea both formerly of Worcester. He leaves four grandchildren James M. Wagner and Brian R. Wagner of Westwood and Emily P. Shea and Alice I. Shea of Lansdale, PA. He is also survived by a niece, two nephews and cousins.
Educated in Worcester Public Schools, Jim was a proud graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (’55). He subsequently served in the U.S. Army. He worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for 35 years.
Jim was an active parishioner of The Parish of the Good Shepherd at St. Zepherin’s Church in Wayland. He participated in numerous activities at the church, most recently as a Eucharistic Minister to Whitney Place Nursing Home in Natick.
Visitations will be held on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Wayland.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 9:00 am followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at The Parish of the Good Shepherd at St. Zepherin’s Church, 99 Main Street (Rte 20), Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Shea family lot in Glenwood Cemetery in South Natick.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice or to Catholic Charities.

Joseph E. Lienhard, Jr. of Natick passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Tufts Medical Center of Boston. He was 82 years old.

Born on July 30, 1931 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Joseph E., Sr. and Sarah (Lane) Lienhard. Joe was raised in Cambridge and a graduate of Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School. He then enlisted in the United States Navy and served our country proudly during the Korean War.

Mr. Lienhard learned plumbing while in the Navy and continued this trade as a Journeyman Plumber with the Plumbers Union, Local 12 for over sixty years. He was a skilled UA Craftsman, loyal to his union and proud to be an American.

Joe was a resident of Natick for fifty-three years and a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Natick. He enjoyed fresh water fishing on Sabago Lake in Maine where he also spent summers during his twenty-three years of retirement and doing anything that involved his hands. He was a master craftsman and built many RC Planes, leather gifts and grandfather clocks. He even donated one of his clocks to the Plumbers Union Hall and it is still displayed for all members to enjoy.

Joe was the devoted husband of the late Patricia E. (Haley) Lienhard with whom they shared forty-seven years of marriage. He was the loving father of Thomas J. Lienhard & his wife Kathleen of NH, Paul F. Lienhard & his wife Nancy of Natick, Gail M. Thompson & her husband Stephen of Medway, Patricia A. Lienhard & Thomas DelMonte also of Medway, Kathleen M. Detweiler & her husband Stephen of Marlborough, Jean M. Lienhard of Natick & the late Mark E. Lienhard. Cherished grandfather of T.J., Molly, Jackie, Jimmy, Bill & Haley. Great grandfather of Tommy, Elaina & Stella.

Funeral from John Everett & Sons 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Wednesday, August 14th at 9:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Patrick’s Church, 44 E. James Winston Armistead, II of Natick died suddenly on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Norwood Hospital. He was only 54 years old.

Born in Tempe, Arizona on June 16, 1959, he was the son of Joan (Ried) Armistead & the late James Winston Armistead. He was a United States Marine and served our country proudly during the Granada War and moved to Natick to open the Home Depot Store of Natick and had lived here ever since.

He also worked for the Roche Brothers Grocery Store of Natick and prior to that worked in construction and for the Caterpillar Corporation.

Winston had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. He enjoyed cars, off road trips, the American Choppers television show, collecting Hot Wheel Cars, all Arizona sports teams, the Boston Bruins and was a big movie buff.

Mr. Armistead was the loving father of Winston Armistead & his wife Joanna of Natick & Chason Armistead & his girlfriend Krisztina Serfozo, also of Natick. Caring brother of Cindy Bernard of AZ and the former husband of Cheryl Ann (Collins) McGill of Arizona.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours on Sunday, August 18th from 2:00-5:00PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common. NATICK: Yvonne Estelle (Hardy) Gould, 99, died peacefully in the loving comfort and care of her daughter on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 following a period of declining health.

Yvonne shared 72 beloved years of marriage with her late husband Arnold Emerson Gould, who died on August 5, 2009.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lorna E. Prior of Natick and her son Richard A. Gould and his wife Virginia M. Keller or Surprise, AZ. The cherished grandmother of Edward D. Prior Jr. of Webster; Michael D. Prior of Milford; Christopher A. Prior Sr. and his wife Sharon (Fahey) Gould of Phoenix, AZ; Beverly J. Prior of Natick; Daniel Gould and his wife Koni Gould of Phoenix, AZ; David Gould and his wife Jennifer Gould of Prescott, AZ; Joshua Gould and his wife Katie Gould of Lake Forest, CA. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren of MA, AZ, and CA.

Yvonne has been a resident of Natick since 1932 and also resided in Wayland for several years. She was a graduate of Merrimack High School with the class of 1931 and graduated from Burdett College in 1932. During World War II she served with the Civil Air Patrol. She began her career in the Crepe Division of Cost Accounting at Dennison Mfg. in Framingham. From the early 1950’s until the mid 1960’s she was an accomplished and talented seamstress working out of her home and also for the New England Robe in Natick, producing flannel shirts. She made the original draperies for the Bennett Hemenway School in Natick and for many years the Natick High School cheerleader uniforms. For several years she worked in the office at the Stop and Shop at Route 9/27 in Natick. She loved to play tennis and did so until she was 75 years of age. Yvonne remained active in the affairs of Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church, the Town of Natick and the schools. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing solitaire right up to the end of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (OFF ROUTE 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.

Her funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church, 106 Walnut Street in Natick.

Internment will follow in the Gould family lot in Rural Cemetery in Southborough.
